How has Calvin shaped your life?
That’s the question keeping me awake these days – never mind the mess in the Episcopal Church. I ran across a nice little website that evaluates this very question. Here are my results:
Test your C-Factor: 78%
You are a genuine Calvinist. You have been tried and tested in Calvinism. Your attitude in life is straight and strict. You are a hard working person, who pays attention to others. However, you never show off these qualities. After all, in the eyes of God, everyone is a sinner. You know how to control your emotions, and no one can say you have an easy and luxurious way of life.
| Category | Score | Comment |
| Work | 100% | You sure have a Calvinistic working ethos. You never work hard enough; work for you is your bounden duty. You are the type of employee any company desires, but the balance between your work and private life may get disturbed. |
| Strictness | 80% | You are rather strict and straight, as are more Calvinists. The advantage is that people can count on you, but your disadvantage is you find it difficult to have fun. Relax a little. Things without purpose make life more enjoyable. |
| Sobriety | 50% | You were not born to be a Calvinist. Slightly hedonistic, loose and emotional. |
| Relationships | 33% | In your relationships you are not very reserved. One might say: uncalvinistic. You let yourself go too easily to be a Calvinist. |
| Beliefs | 100% | You are not necessarily sombre, although Calvin’s religious convictions are in your genes. |

I have an overall C-factor of 75%. That was fun, although yes, I could have been doing something better instead of answering those 25 questions. I’ll just beat myself up for wasting time as I try to go to sleep. Calvin would be so proud.
78% also.
This reminds me of the “What’s Your Theological Worldview” quiz (http://quizfarm.com/test.php?q_id=7095N) I took last year where I scored as follows:
“You are an evangelical in the Wesleyan tradition. You believe that God’s grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved. The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you assurance of your salvation, and he also enables you to live the life of obedience to which God has called us. You are influenced heavly by John Wesley and the Methodists.”

You people are a lot of fun and “Steve” We’ve got to change your title from Pastor to instigator. As part of the group that blew in from Heritage, all I can say about this blog is,”I got to Go to work”
72% – much time wasted?
I enjoyed that little excursion…my father was very much a Calvinist and many of the questions made me think about him. I scored 72%, which surprised me, but the final description was spot on.
Only a mere 58%. I have been infulenced by RC and Orthodox thinking which isn’t all bad.
