I just did some research, if you want to call it that, on Betty Butterfield and Chuck Knipp. I must confess that I found it far more intriguing than the detailed discussion of the vicissitudes of “Anglo-Catholicism” in the previous post.
I believe this reflects a significant regression the evolution of my Reformed/4.5 Calvinist/Big Time Holy Ghost/Evangelical spiritual development.
Steve, are you leading me into perdition by opening me up to Betty Butterfield rather than leaving my naive Midwestern condition protected? Or, is this simply a merciless reflection of my total depravity.

The whole Betty Butterfield series is hilarious. Very politically incorrect, very satirical, but the guy who does that is surprisingly accurate.
Ken Hamblin used to play stuff from another of his characters, but I’d best not go into that here!
