I first experienced this song when Kathy Mattea toured and did an outdoor concert in Northern Michigan (imagine this song performed full band in a large outdoor amphitheater with the backdrop being a lake at sunset…doesn’t get much more amazing! Then Dougie McLean (the composer) and the Tannahill Weavers came to tour through Our Front Porch (a concert series produced and recorded for public radio in Central and Northern Michigan) and WOW!!! Again, it was just AWESOME!

It’s a song that always gives me a Spiritual vibration and has a special place in my heart!
