It’s so crazy. The expectations of preachers today haven’t changed much from what they were describing in the 10 min. video for MLJ.

Where’s the fog machine? Where’s the powerful entrance? Where’s the light show? Entertain me!

And then you realize that God’s Word is sufficient without the bells and whistles we love to, all to often, throw on it.

I loved his book Revival. Read it with a group of pastors group. It has a forward by J. I. Packer.

I actually listened to his series on Revival years ago, incredible! Went through a season where I devoured everything by him and about him.
