What perfect timing God has! No better way to “keep the main thing THE MAIN THING” than by celebrating God’s costly and unselfish love for us on Ressurection Sunday at Boone Hall.

Steve, You were quoted in this morning’s Post and Courier newspaper, exhorting, “. . . Please commit with me to ensure that St. Andrew’s will remain a parish where ALL ARE WELCOME to gather at the foot of the cross.”

Once again, Boone Hall presents an ideal setting for this first Sunday of freedom from the encumberances of denominational doctrine. God, through the persuasion and power of His Holy Spirit, saw fit to release this local body of believers at just the right time to focus first, and foremost, on the Risen Christ and the endless (and timeless!) Good News which God makes available to ALL who will come to believe in His one and only Son, Jesus Christ.

On behalf of many, thank you to ALL who have labored and persevered in continually aiming to “keep the main thing THE MAIN THING!”

Let’s keep our eyes on THE PRIZE!

Thoughtfully and prayerfully submitted,

Paul Chaconas (a Charleston city bus driver; a former hospitality sexton for St. Andrew’s Church; and most importantly, a beloved child of God)

Sorry, I misspelled “Resurrection” and “encumbrances.” I need to read and write more often. God blessed be with a good brain, so I need to use it!

Evidently, God blessed “be” with a good brain. Not me. Enough replies for one day. My brain and the rest of my body must return to bus driving. Pray for my passengers!
