25 Everyday Things You Never Knew Had Names

Ok – so we’re with our LifeGroup this past Friday night and someone asks what the name of that part fleshy part of your hand between your thumb and index finger is called (we’re very deep).  None of us knew.  I do now.  In my search I also discovered that there are many things out there that we deal with or see everyday, but have no idea what they are called. Below is a list of 25 ridiculous real names for 25 everyday items.

Cute. Though I was taught that the word for stomach rumble was “borborygmi.”
