A link to the below article popped up in my Facebook news feed and caught my attention. It’s written by a young woman at St. Andrew’s. I liked it for a number of reasons: To begin with, it’s well written. She makes good observations integrating her faith and her life; she’s writing as a participant in life, not simply a bystander; and most important, as her pastor, I enjoyed seeing how she thinks about life and the place Scripture has in shaping her thoughts.
Here’s a snip:
Julianne Moore has given several interviews recently since the release of her movie “The Kids Are Alright.” Because of the nature of the movie, marriage & family tend to be the hot topic. Recently, she said the only reason she got married was because of her children. Well…I don’t agree that it should be the only reason, but I agree with her logic that “Marriage is really a container for a family.”

Wendy: well done indeed! At the best of times the container runneth over. Like the part about the endurance of love.
This is wonderful Wendy. I agree with everything you wrote…I remember reading somewhere that “love is a verb.” Just as you have written.
Bravo, Wendy!
