What a year!
I’m not an overly nostalgic, reflective or introspective person as I almost always am looking ahead for the next opportunity – and where the Lord is leading us – rather than behind. And, if you attend SAMP, you know that I don’t very often talk about these kinds of things. But from time to time, and especially as we begin a new year with the necessary year-end reporting, we have reason to look back and consider where we’ve been and what the Lord has done through SAMP. And, honestly, I am amazed by what the below numbers tell us about what God has done and is doing in and through you. On top of the normal mission and life of the church you will also remember that at this time last year we were navigating our way out of The Episcopal Church and into the Anglican Church in North America – making the below, in my opinion, all the more amazing.
I remain overwhelmingly blessed to be your Rector. It is the singular joy of my life to be a part of the life and mission of St. Andrew’s.
