Quote to Start the Week

I ran across this last week in my sermon prep for yesterday’s teaching on 1 Peter 2.1-10.  It’s a gem.

Preach gently to the young and weak Christians.   Let them enrich themselves and grow fat in the knowledge of Christ.  Do not burden them with strong doctrine, for they are still too young.  But later, when they are grown strong, let them be slaughtered and sacrificed on the cross.
